1. Is a white floor difficult to keep clean? Surprisingly, no. While white can show dark debris more easily, the antistatic surface of this range prevents dust from clinging to the floor. A quick sweep or a damp microfibre mop is all you need to keep it looking brand new.
2. Can I install this in a bathroom? Yes! The HydroSeal coating makes it one of the few wood-look floors truly suitable for bathrooms. For a 100% watertight finish, we recommend using the manufacturer's dedicated sealant kit around the perimeter.
3. Does it look like real painted wood? The Embossed-in-Register finish ensures that the texture you feel under your feet matches the grain you see with your eyes. Most visitors will be unable to tell it isn't real painted oak.
Recommended Underlay
The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Quick-Step laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
