With its rich, golden-honey hues and lifelike grain patterns, this floor doesn’t just cover a room—it breathes soul into it, making your living space feel brighter, warmer, and more inviting.

Why Dynamic Irish Oak is a Modern Masterpiece
Choosing a floor often feels like a tug-of-war between beauty and durability. However, this standout from the Kronotex flooring range ends that conflict. Engineered in Germany to the highest standards, the Irish Oak decor is as tough as it is beautiful.
Key features of this 8mm laminate include:
-
AC4 Durability Rating: This floor is built for the “beautiful chaos” of an active household. It is highly resistant to the scratches, scuffs, and impacts that come with pets, children, and heavy foot traffic.
-
Golden Oak Aesthetic: The medium-oak palette is a designer’s favorite. It masks everyday dust effectively while providing a neutral, warm base that complements everything from navy accent walls to rustic pine furniture.
- Seamless Installation: Utilising the world-class Kronotex Clic system, the boards snap together with precision, ensuring a professional, gap-free finish that DIY enthusiasts can achieve with ease.
- Sustainable Quality: Like all Kronotex products, Irish Oak is made from sustainable timber, ensuring a healthy indoor environment for your family.

Ask a Question
1. Is Irish Oak suitable for high-traffic areas like my hallway? Absolutely. With an AC4 rating, this floor is specifically designed for heavy residential use. It can easily handle the constant footfall of a busy entrance hall while maintaining its vibrant golden finish for years.
2. Can I install this Kronotex floor over underfloor heating? Yes. Dynamic Irish Oak is fully compatible with water-based underfloor heating systems. Its 8mm thickness allows for efficient heat transfer, ensuring your home stays cozy and energy-efficient during the winter months.
3. How do I keep the golden oak colour looking its best? Maintenance is incredibly simple. The surface is dirt-repellent and anti-static. A regular sweep and an occasional wipe with a well-wrung damp microfiber mop and a dedicated laminate cleaner is all that is required to maintain its luster.
Recommended Underlay
The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Kronotex laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
