Product Description
Timeless Luminosity: Transform Your Home with Camaro Sienna Oak
If you are looking to create a space that feels eternally bright, warm, and sophisticated, Sienna Oak from the Polyflor Camaro collection is an impeccable choice. This 2mm thick LVT masterfully captures the gentle, honeyed tones of natural light oak, offering a clean and airy aesthetic that serves as the perfect backdrop for both modern Irish apartments and traditional country homes. Unlike real timber, which can be high-maintenance, Sienna Oak provides the authentic texture and visual warmth of wood with the unmatched durability of luxury vinyl.
A Designer’s Masterpiece: Creative Freedom with Glue-Down LVT
What sets Sienna Oak apart is its status as a premier design option floor. Because this is a permanent glue-down LVT, you aren’t restricted to a single direction or a standard layout. At Floorstore Direct, we love seeing customers push the boundaries of design. You can choose to:
-
Fit in Multiple Directions: Lay the planks diagonally to draw the eye across a room or create a bespoke herringbone-style focal point.
-
Incorporate Borders and Feature Strips: Frame your room with a decorative perimeter or use Polyflor feature strips between planks to create a “ship-deck” effect or mimic traditional grouting. This level of customisation ensures that your floor is a unique, one-of-a-kind reflection of your personal style.
Built for the Realities of Irish Living
Sienna Oak is engineered to perform in the busiest areas of your home. As a 100% waterproof floor, it is the ideal solution for kitchens, bathrooms, and utility rooms where moisture is a constant factor.
-
Glue-Down Stability: Once adhered, the floor becomes a solid, permanent part of your home, offering superior acoustic performance and a firm feel underfoot.
-
Subfloor Preparation: To achieve a flawless finish, the subfloor must be perfectly level and free from moisture. We recommend a professional moisture test and a smoothing compound to ensure the adhesive bonds perfectly.
-
Underfloor Heating Compatible: It is an excellent thermal conductor, making it perfect for use with underfloor heating systems (up to 27°C) to keep your home cosy throughout the winter.

Ask a Question
1. Can I install Sienna Oak in a bathroom with a lot of steam? Yes! Because it is a 100% waterproof glue-down LVT, it is perfectly suited for bathrooms. Unlike laminate or real wood, it will not swell or warp when exposed to steam and splashes, provided the correct water-resistant adhesive is used during installation.
2. Why is it important to check subfloor moisture for a glue-down floor? Glue-down LVT requires a bone-dry subfloor for the adhesive to cure correctly. If there is residual moisture in a concrete screed, it can cause the planks to lift or "bubble" over time. At Floorstore Direct, we always advise a professional moisture reading before you begin your project.
3. Does the light "Sienna Oak" tone show up dirt and scuffs easily? Actually, the soft grain and light oak tones are very forgiving. The polyurethane (PUR) surface treatment is designed to resist staining and scuffs, while the natural wood pattern helps to mask light dust and pet hair much better than a solid-coloured or very dark floor.
Recommend Adhesive
Our Polyflor LVT Flooring must be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Polyflor Flooring is pretty much the same as with all Vinyl Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Please make sure to also check the manufacturers guidelines. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet. You can view all our Cleaning & Maintenance products here.
