Peruvian Walnut is inspired by the beauty of exotic hardwood, with its deep chocolate hues and naturally flowing grain. It adds warmth and refinement to both modern and traditional interiors, making it a superb choice for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and office spaces. Its classic walnut appearance pairs effortlessly with neutral colour palettes, metallic accents, or bold contemporary furnishings.

What sets this product apart is its exceptional water resistance, thanks to Balterio’s HydroShield technology. This makes Traditions Peruvian Walnut laminate flooring suitable even for moisture-prone areas such as kitchens and utility rooms, without compromising on style or longevity. The floor is built to withstand daily life with ease, with an AC4 rating and 9mm thickness that ensures long-lasting strength, comfort underfoot, and effective sound insulation.

Each plank is finished with realistic wood embossing that perfectly mimics natural walnut texture. Combined with the Uniclic® click installation system, fitting is quick and seamless, creating a flawless finish with no visible joins. Recommended Underlay

The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Balterio laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet. You can view all our Cleaning & Maintenance products here.
