Part of the renowned Balterio Traditions collection, Forest Oak stands out with its deeply embossed grain, authentic texture, and soft matt finish. Its tones of warm mid-brown are perfect for creating a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere. Each plank is bevelled on all four sides, replicating the look of real hardwood flooring. But unlike natural wood, Forest Oak laminate is low maintenance, highly durable, and ideal for high-traffic areas of your home or business.
One of the key advantages of Traditions Forest Oak is its water-resistant surface, offering up to 72 hours of moisture protection thanks to Balterio’s advanced HydroShield technology. This makes it an ideal solution for kitchens, hallways, utility rooms, and even bathrooms where splashes and spills are part of everyday life.
With an AC4 wear rating, this floor is built to endure. It resists scratches, dents, and daily wear-and-tear with ease, while the click-lock installation system ensures a straightforward and secure fit, whether you’re working with a fitter or installing it yourself. The 9mm thickness gives it a sturdy, underfoot feel that enhances acoustic comfort and overall stability.

Recommended Underlay
The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Balterio laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
