The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Known for its high-quality finishes and superior construction, Balterio has created a laminate floor that mirrors the raw beauty of natural oak while delivering everyday practicality and strength.
Woodland Oak features a beautifully textured surface with realistic knots and grain patterns that create the authentic feel of solid wood. Its inviting mid-oak tones are timeless, making it a perfect match for a wide range of interiors—from traditional countryside homes to modern apartments.
This Balterio laminate flooring boasts a four-sided V-groove bevel, giving each plank a distinct edge and enhancing the overall natural look. The result is a stylish floor that replicates the depth and structure of genuine hardwood—without the cost or maintenance challenges.
Built with an AC4 abrasion rating, Supreme 4V Woodland Oak is made to last. It’s highly resistant to scratches, stains, and daily wear and tear, making it an excellent choice for busy households, hallways, lounges, and kitchens. The 8mm thickness offers superior comfort underfoot and makes installation over underlay smooth and stable.

Ask a Question
1. Does the "Woodland Oak" design look repetitive in large open-plan rooms? Actually, Balterio’s Woodland Oak is designed with "Natural Variety" technology. Unlike basic laminates that repeat the same pattern every few boards, this range features a high number of unique plank designs. When installed, it replicates the diverse character of a real forest-grown oak, ensuring that knots and grain patterns are distributed naturally across your floor without a visible "carbon-copy" effect.
2. Is the "Woodland Oak" texture safe for children and elderly family members? Yes, the texture on Woodland Oak isn't just for looks; it provides a "True-to-Nature" touch that adds a subtle layer of slip resistance compared to high-gloss or smooth laminate floors. The 3D wood effect creates a more tactile surface that offers better grip underfoot, making it a safer and more practical choice for busy households with young children or those with mobility concerns.
3. Why is Woodland Oak often paired with "Bandit Oak" in descriptions? In the flooring industry, different retailers or regions sometimes use alternative names for the same decor. At Floorstore Direct, we supply the Supreme 4V Woodland Oak (Model 60957), which is the exact same high-spec 8mm AC4 board sometimes referred to as "Bandit Oak." Regardless of the name, you are getting the same warm, rustic golden-oak finish and Balterio's signature 20-year domestic warranty.
Recommended Underlay
The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Balterio laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
