Product Description

Elegant, bright, and beautifully balanced, Renaissance Herringbone Oak Masip is a premium engineered herringbone floor that brings timeless sophistication and natural warmth into modern Irish homes. Available from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s trusted destination for engineered flooring, herringbone floors, and hardwood floors, this exquisite 19mm oak herringbone features a planed and extra white UV oiled finish. Designed with precision and crafted with care, Oak Masip embodies the perfect harmony of classic patterning and contemporary elegance.

Each block of Renaissance Herringbone Oak Masip showcases the natural beauty of European oak, brought to life through expert craftsmanship. The planed surface reveals the true texture of the wood grain, offering a tactile, organic finish that feels authentic and refined underfoot. This subtle texturing enhances the wood’s natural depth while maintaining a smooth, elegant appearance. The extra white UV oil gently lightens the oak, creating a soft, luminous tone that brightens interiors and reflects natural light beautifully. The result is a floor that feels timeless yet fresh — perfect for contemporary spaces seeking a touch of natural luxury.

The UV oiled finish combines beauty with practicality. By penetrating deep into the timber, it nourishes and protects the wood from within while preserving its natural texture and warmth. This finish offers long-lasting resistance to daily wear, stains, and moisture, ensuring your floor stays stunning for years to come. The gentle sheen of the oil adds sophistication without overpowering the wood’s authentic character, making it ideal for both residential and commercial interiors.

The Rustic A/Nature grading of Renaissance Herringbone Oak Masip strikes the perfect balance between refinement and character. Expect smaller knots, subtle colour variations, and light touches of sapwood, which together create a soft, natural aesthetic. This grading makes the floor feel clean and consistent while retaining the charm and individuality of real oak. The traditional herringbone pattern enhances the design’s architectural appeal, adding visual movement and a sense of timeless grandeur to any room.

This 19mm multi-layered engineered herringbone floor is built for strength and longevity. Unlike solid wood, engineered flooring is constructed to handle changes in temperature and humidity, ensuring exceptional stability — ideal for Ireland’s varied climate. The precision-engineered structure prevents warping or movement, guaranteeing that your floor looks and performs beautifully for decades.

For optimal installation, Renaissance Herringbone Oak Masip must be glued directly to the subfloor. This method enhances stability, minimises movement, and gives the floor a premium, solid feel underfoot that exudes quality.

Recommend Adhesive

Our Engineered Herringbone must be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Renaissance Engineered Flooring is slightly different than most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. However, while we still advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor, we also recommend occasional use with a maintenance oil and our Magic Oil Care. This will help replenish the oils that may be lost through cleaning. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
