Product Description

Beautifully crafted and full of refined charm, Renaissance Herringbone Oak Landini is a luxurious engineered herringbone floor that blends timeless elegance with contemporary design. Available from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s trusted destination for engineered flooring, herringbone floors, and hardwood floors, this 19mm oak floor features a sophisticated smoked, distressed, and white UV oiled finish. With its distinctive character and natural texture, Oak Landini brings warmth, depth, and a sense of classic craftsmanship into any space.

Each plank of Renaissance Herringbone Oak Landini showcases the artistry and authenticity that define true European oak flooring. The smoked treatment enhances the natural richness of the timber, deepening the tones and highlighting the intricate grain detail. The distressed finish adds gentle surface texture and subtle ageing, creating a beautifully lived-in appearance reminiscent of traditional parquet floors. The white UV oil lightens the overall tone, creating a soft contrast that feels both elegant and modern. Together, these treatments give the floor a stunning balance of warmth and light — ideal for interiors that combine heritage design with contemporary sophistication.

The UV oiled finish ensures long-lasting protection while maintaining the natural feel of real wood. This breathable finish penetrates deep into the surface, preserving the oak’s tactile warmth and allowing it to age gracefully. It offers excellent resistance to stains, scratches, and moisture, while retaining a smooth, organic texture that feels luxurious underfoot.

The Rustic A/Nature grading of Renaissance Herringbone Oak Landini provides a perfect balance between natural charm and refined elegance. Each plank features smaller knots, gentle colour variation, and minimal sapwood, resulting in a subtle yet distinctive appearance. The pattern of the herringbone layout adds architectural interest and timeless style, creating a sense of movement and sophistication in any room. Whether used in a grand hallway, an elegant living area, or a boutique-style bedroom, this floor instantly elevates the space with its handcrafted beauty and natural authenticity.

Built for performance as well as style, this 19mm engineered herringbone floor offers the strength and stability of modern flooring innovation. Unlike traditional solid oak, engineered flooring is designed to withstand changes in humidity and temperature, making it perfectly suited to Ireland’s climate. Its layered construction ensures durability and longevity, giving you the beauty of hardwood with enhanced stability.

For optimal installation, Renaissance Herringbone Oak Landini must be glued directly to the subfloor. This ensures superior stability, acoustic comfort, and a premium, solid feel underfoot.

Recommend Adhesive

Our Engineered Herringbone must be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Renaissance Engineered Flooring is slightly different than most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. However, while we still advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor, we also recommend occasional use with a maintenance oil and our Magic Oil Care. This will help replenish the oils that may be lost through cleaning. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
