Product Description
Rich, bold, and full of timeless character, Renaissance Herringbone Oak Brandani is a luxurious engineered herringbone floor that combines heritage style with modern craftsmanship. Available from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s leading destination for engineered flooring, herringbone floors, and hardwood floors, this premium 19mm floor features a stunning smoked, distressed, aged edge, and black UV oiled finish. Designed for elegance and durability, Oak Brandani is a statement of classic sophistication with a contemporary edge.
Each plank of Renaissance Oak Brandani is a testament to the artistry of traditional wood finishing. The smoked treatment infuses the oak with deep, rich tones — highlighting natural variations in the grain and creating a warm, dramatic base. The distressed texture gives the wood a beautifully timeworn appearance, evoking the character of reclaimed floors found in historic European buildings. The aged edges enhance this effect, giving each piece a distinctive depth and definition that perfectly suits the herringbone pattern. Finally, the black UV oil adds an exquisite finish, balancing modern style with classic charm while providing long-lasting protection and a soft, natural sheen.
The result is a floor that feels sophisticated, tactile, and full of personality. Renaissance Herringbone Oak Brandanitransforms any interior into a space of refinement and warmth — ideal for grand living rooms, boutique-style dining spaces, or elegant commercial settings. Its extra wide format provides a bolder take on traditional herringbone, making it as visually striking as it is timeless.
The rustic A/Nature of this floor celebrates the beauty of real oak. Expect smaller knots, colour variation, natural grain detail, and areas of sapwood, which together create a floor that feels authentic and alive. Each board is unique, ensuring your floor has its own distinct identity and charm. The combination of deep black tones, subtle sheen, and tactile distressing makes this an ideal choice for those who appreciate the beauty of handcrafted design.
Constructed for strength and stability, this 19mm engineered herringbone floor combines the timeless look of solid wood with the technical advantages of modern flooring innovation. Unlike traditional hardwood, engineered flooring is built to resist warping and movement caused by changes in temperature and humidity — making it ideal for Ireland’s varied climate.
For best results, Renaissance Herringbone Oak Brandani must be glued directly to the subfloor. This ensures perfect stability, long-term performance, and a luxurious, solid feel underfoot.

Recommend Adhesive
Our Engineered Herringbone must be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Renaissance Engineered Flooring is slightly different than most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. However, while we still advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor, we also recommend occasional use with a maintenance oil and our Magic Oil Care. This will help replenish the oils that may be lost through cleaning. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
