Renaissance 19mm Oak DaVinci is a beautiful, modern, Smoked, Distressed UV Oil/Wax Engineered floor. This floor has modern light, white and grey tones running through the oak. The Renaissance collection is a premium range of extra wide plank floors made from the finest quality European Oak. While the birch plywood construction gives it optimum stability. Because it features a staggering 260mm width and 2.4m length, these boards are exceptional and expansive in their size and character. The total thickness of the board is 19mm while the solid layer is 6mm, because of this you will have the firmest feel possible. The oiled finish gives you the most natural look and feel possible. This board comes with a planed design. Because of this your board may result in a slightly rougher texture around knots.
Product Description
Distinctive, luxurious, and steeped in natural beauty, Renaissance Oak DaVinci is a truly exceptional engineered wood floor that embodies the perfect balance between timeless craftsmanship and modern sophistication. Available from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s leading supplier of engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this premium 19mm oak floor features a smoked, distressed, planed, and white UV oiled finish. With its extra wide 260mm planks, Renaissance Oak DaVinci transforms any space into a masterpiece of warmth, texture, and elegance.
Every detail of Renaissance Oak DaVinci has been carefully crafted to capture the authentic character of real oak. The smoked finish infuses the timber with rich undertones of honey, caramel, and amber, highlighting the natural grain and adding incredible depth. The planed surface gives the floor a subtle, hand-worked texture, bringing a sense of artisanal craftsmanship to your space. The distressed treatment enhances its aged and rustic appeal, introducing delicate wear marks that echo the charm of reclaimed flooring. Finally, the white UV oil softens the overall tone, balancing the deeper shades of the smoked oak with a fresh, contemporary brightness. The result is a floor that feels lived-in yet luxurious — the perfect foundation for both modern and traditional interiors.
The UV oiled finish not only enriches the natural beauty of the oak but also provides superior durability and protection. This breathable finish preserves the tactile feel of real wood while offering excellent resistance against daily wear, moisture, and stains — ensuring that your floor remains as beautiful as the day it was installed.
The rustic/character grading of Renaissance Oak DaVinci celebrates the individuality of natural oak, with visible knots, colour variation, and areas of sapwood adding texture and personality. Each plank is unique, giving your home a floor with depth, history, and unmistakable charm. The combination of light and dark tones makes this floor incredibly versatile, pairing beautifully with neutral palettes, modern furniture, or even bold, industrial-style spaces.
Behind its timeless beauty lies the strength of innovation. This 19mm multi-layered engineered floor combines the luxury of solid hardwood with the stability of engineered construction. Unlike traditional wood floors, engineered flooring is designed to handle Ireland’s changing climate, offering superior resistance to warping or movement caused by temperature and humidity changes.
For best results, Renaissance Oak DaVinci must be glued directly to the subfloor. This installation method ensures maximum stability and enhances the solid, premium feel underfoot, providing both comfort and longevity.

Recommend Adhesive
Because of the excessive length and width of our Renaissance Boards we advise them to be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Renaissance Engineered Flooring is slightly different than most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. However, while we still advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor, we also recommend occasional use with a maintenance oil and our Magic Oil Care. This will help replenish the oils that may be lost through cleaning. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
