Product Description

Bright, elegant, and beautifully crafted, Renaissance Oak Bramante is a premium engineered wood floor that captures the natural warmth of oak with a fresh, modern twist. Available from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s trusted destination for engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this luxurious 19mm floor features a planed and white UV oiled finish. With its extra wide 260mm boards, Renaissance Oak Bramante brings both scale and sophistication to any home or commercial interior, combining timeless craftsmanship with cutting-edge durability.

Each plank of Renaissance Oak Bramante showcases the artistry and authenticity of European oak. The planed surfacehighlights the natural texture of the timber, creating a subtly tactile finish that feels handcrafted and organic. This treatment enhances the grain and structure of the wood, giving each board a unique sense of depth and character. The white UV oil adds a light, contemporary finish that softens the natural oak tones, creating a beautifully balanced look that’s both warm and airy. Perfect for bright, open-plan interiors, coastal-inspired spaces, or Scandinavian-style homes, Bramante Oak adds effortless charm and sophistication to any setting.

The UV oiled finish is both practical and beautiful. The oil penetrates deep into the oak, nourishing the timber from within while forming a protective surface layer that resists everyday wear. Unlike lacquered finishes, UV oil preserves the natural feel of the wood while enhancing its resilience to moisture and staining. This ensures a floor that looks stunning and performs beautifully over time.

The rustic/character grading of Renaissance Oak Bramante celebrates everything that makes natural wood so distinctive. Expect visible knots, colour variation, and areas of sapwood, which together create an authentic, timeless aesthetic. Each plank tells its own story, bringing warmth and individuality to your floor. The light white finish accentuates these organic details, blending modern refinement with the raw charm of nature.

This 19mm multi-layered engineered floor is designed for strength and stability. Unlike solid oak, engineered flooringis built to withstand changes in temperature and humidity — making it ideal for Ireland’s variable climate. Its stable structure ensures that your floor remains smooth and secure for years to come, offering the best of both beauty and practicality.

For best results, Renaissance Oak Bramante must be glued directly to the subfloor. This installation method ensures maximum stability, reduces sound, and gives the floor a solid, luxurious feel underfoot.

Recommend Adhesive

Because of the excessive length and width of our Renaissance Boards we advise them to be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Renaissance Engineered Flooring is slightly different than most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. However, while we still advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor, we also recommend occasional use with a maintenance oil and our Magic Oil Care. This will help replenish the oils that may be lost through cleaning. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
