Pall-X 98 High Gloss Floor Lacquer is a Water-based 2-component wood floor lacquer for very heavy used wood floors in residential and commercial areas, including industrial areas. The very good flow properties guarantee an easy application and ensure an impressive and maintenance-friendly surface. We advise a minimum two coats of our high gloss floor lacquer along with one coat of Pallmann Pall-X 325 primer. Also available in a Matte and Semi-Gloss finish.
Product Description
Pall-X 98 High Gloss Floor Lacquer is a Water-based 2-component wood floor lacquer for very heavy used wood floors in residential and commercial areas, including industrial areas. The very good flow properties guarantee an easy application and ensure an impressive and maintenance-friendly surface. We advise a minimum two coats of our high gloss floor lacquer along with one coat of Pallmann Pall-X 325 primer. Also available in a Matte and Semi-Gloss finish.
Suitable for:
- Sanded wood flooring
- Woodblocks
- Use on wood floors installed over warm water underfloor heating systems.
Surface Preparation:
The surface to be sealed must be clean, dry, free of impurities and sanded in accordance with the recognised industry standard. In principle, it is best to prime before sealing so as to avoid the detrimental effects of edge bonding or rafting of the wood flooring sections.

Brief instruction for shiny surfaces:
- Primers: All Pall-X primers (Water based: Pall-X 325 or oil based Pall-X333)
- 1 x Pall-X 98 Gloss
- Intermediate cross sanding with 120 grit
- 1 x filling with Pall-X Gel
- Apply using Application Roller waterbased gloss 14mm/25cm. For an even higher brilliance and fullness a third coat is required.
