Pall-X 96 Semi-Gloss Lacquer is a water based fast drying, one component wood floor and cork flooring lacquer with a matte finish which is suitable for both residential and commercial use. We advise you use two coats along with one coat of Pallmann Pall-X 325 primer. Also available in a matte finish.
Suitable for:
- Sanded wood flooring
- Untreated natural cork
- Use on wood floors installed over warm water underfloor heating systems.
Surface Preparation:
Prior to using Pall-X 96 Semi-Gloss lacquer the surface to be sealed must be clean, dry, free of impurities and sanded in accordance with the recognized industry standard. In principle, it is best to prime before sealing so as to avoid the detrimental effects of edge bonding or rafting of the wood flooring sections.
Subfloor preparation of untreated natural cork:
Prior to the application of the lacquer, a final sanding is necessary.
Natural cork has to be sealed without a primer!
