Timeless Radiance: Nature’s Finest Harvest Oak
If you are looking to brighten your home with the soft, organic glow of a summer morning, the Nature’s Finest Harvest Oak from Egger is an exquisite choice. This floor is designed for those who appreciate the airy elegance of a light oak palette but refuse to compromise on substance. At Floorstore Direct, we have built our reputation as the best place in Ireland to buy laminate flooring by curating collections that pair world-class German engineering with the specific aesthetic needs of the modern Irish interior.
Previously known to homeowners and designers as Natural Soria Oak, this beloved decor has been reimagined under the Nature’s Finest banner. It retains the same clean, sun-bleached tones and subtle grain patterns that made it a bestseller, providing a versatile foundation that works beautifully with everything from Scandi-minimalism to classic coastal styles. As a flagship product in the Egger flooring range, it features a “Deepskin” surface texture, ensuring the floor offers a tactile, authentic wood feel that is soft to the touch yet visually striking.
The 12mm Advantage: AC4 Water-Resistant Engineering
In the world of high-quality flooring, the 12mm profile is the gold standard for residential stability. Harvest Oak isn’t just a surface; it’s a substantial foundation built to handle the “beautiful chaos” of a busy household.
-
12mm Architectural Profile: The substantial thickness provides a rock-solid feel underfoot and superior acoustic performance. It eliminates the hollow “click” sound often associated with thinner alternatives, giving your home the premium weight and “thud” of solid hardwood.
-
Water-Resistant Swell Protection: Built with Egger’s advanced moisture-resistant core, this floor is designed for real life. From damp footprints in the hallway to kitchen splashes, the water-resistant surface ensures your investment remains stable and gorgeous for years.
-
AC4 Durability Rating: Certified for heavy residential use, this 12mm laminate is engineered to resist micro-scratches from pets, high heels, and the constant movement of furniture.

Ask a Question
1. Is "Harvest Oak" the exact same colour as the old "Natural Soria Oak"? Yes! While Egger has transitioned the name to Harvest Oak within the Nature’s Finest collection, the visual decor and light, natural oak tones remain identical. If you are extending a project started with Natural Soria Oak, this is the exact match you need.
2. Does a light floor like Harvest Oak show dirt more easily than darker wood? Actually, light oak is one of the most practical colours for a busy home. While very dark floors highlight light dust and white pet hair, the multi-tonal grain of Harvest Oak is excellent at camouflaging light debris and micro-scratches. It stays looking "cleaner" for longer between sweeps.
3. Why choose 12mm Harvest Oak over an 8mm version? The 12mm thickness offers two main benefits: sound and stability. It provides a much quieter walking experience and handles slight subfloor imperfections better than 8mm boards. For high-traffic areas like living rooms or hallways, the 12mm profile feels significantly more like a "permanent" solid wood installation.
Recommended Underlay
The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Egger laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
