Product Description

Timeless Luxury: Nature’s Choice Warm Walnut

If you are looking to ground your home with a floor that radiates prestige, warmth, and an unmistakable sense of luxury, the Nature’s Choice Warm Walnut from Egger is a compelling choice. This floor is the definition of “moody and magnificent,” featuring a deep, chocolatey palette that serves as a high-contrast anchor for modern and classic interiors alike. At Floorstore Direct, we are proud to be the best place in Ireland to buy laminate flooring, pairing premium German engineering with local expertise.

Previously known to many homeowners and designers as Brown Warmia Walnut, this decor has been reimagined under the Nature’s Choice banner. It retains the same beloved character, defined by its “Deepskin” surface texture and soft pore pattern that creates a smooth, elegant naturalness. As a standout in the Egger flooring range, it is the perfect companion for the popular “Black accents” trend, providing a rich foundation that makes metallic fixtures and velvet textures pop.

Engineered for Ireland: 8mm AC4 Water-Resistant Protection

Irish homes demand flooring that can handle the grit of the outdoors and the occasional kitchen spill. The Warm Walnut is designed to be as “life-proof” as it is beautiful.

  • Water-Resistant Swell Protection: Built with a high-density HDF+ core board, this floor offers dependable protection against topical moisture. While it brings the prestigious look of solid walnut, it provides a level of resilience that makes it a practical choice for kitchens, hallways, and living areas.

  • AC4 Durability Rating: Certified for heavy residential use, this 8mm laminate is engineered to resist scratches from active pets, high heels, and the constant movement of furniture in a busy household.

  • CLIC it! System: Featuring Egger’s innovative installation technology, the Warm Walnut offers a fast, glueless, and secure fit. The tight joints further protect the core against moisture ingress, ensuring your floor stays stable and gap-free for years.

Ask a Question

1. Is "Warm Walnut" the exact same colour as the old "Brown Warmia Walnut"? Yes. While the name has transitioned to Warm Walnut within the Nature’s Choice collection, the decor, warmth, and dark walnut elements remain identical. If you are trying to match an existing floor previously known as Brown Warmia Walnut, this is the exact match you need.

2. Does the dark walnut tone make a room feel smaller? Actually, it can make a space feel more "grounded" and expensive. When paired with light-coloured walls and crisp white skirting boards, the deep tones of Warm Walnut provide a high-contrast look that defines the room's boundaries and adds architectural depth, making even modest-sized rooms feel like a luxury suite.

3. Is the "Deepskin" surface difficult to clean? Not at all. Despite having a realistic, tactile texture, the surface is non-porous and dirt-repellent. Unlike real walnut, which requires special oils and waxes, a simple sweep and an occasional damp microfibre mop are all it takes to keep the rich, dark tones looking pristine.

Recommended Underlay

The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Egger laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
