Product Description
Timeless Authenticity: Nature Sense Natural Treviso Oak
If you are searching for a floor that captures the pure, unadulterated essence of a classic woodland oak, the Natural Treviso Oak from the Egger Nature Sense range is a flawless selection. This floor is designed for those who appreciate the balanced, organic warmth of a natural oak palette that never goes out of style. At Floorstore Direct, we have earned our reputation as the best place in Ireland to buy laminate flooring by providing homeowners with elite German-engineered products that bridge the gap between historic charm and modern durability.
Natural Treviso Oak stands out with its striking “Deepskin” surface texture. This isn’t just a printed pattern; it features a synchronised limed look where small knots and distinctive pores are highlighted to create a sense of tactile depth. As a centerpiece of the Egger flooring lineup, it offers a “Live Natural” effect that makes any room feel grounded, expensive, and incredibly welcoming.
The 10mm Advantage: AC4 Water-Resistant Engineering
In the world of premium flooring, the 10mm profile is often considered the “sweet spot” for residential stability. Natural Treviso Oak is built to handle the “beautiful chaos” of a busy Irish household without breaking a sweat.
-
10mm Architectural Profile: The substantial 10mm thickness provides a rock-solid feel underfoot and superior acoustic performance. It eliminates the hollow “click” often associated with thinner floors, giving your home the premium weight and “thud” of solid hardwood.
-
Aqua CLIC it! Technology: We know that real life involves kitchen spills and wet footprints in the hallway. This range features 24-hour water resistance, providing a reliable barrier against moisture penetration and ensuring your investment remains stable for years to come.
-
AC4 Heavy-Duty Rating: Certified for heavy residential use, this 10mm laminate is engineered to resist micro-scratches from pets, high heels, and the constant movement of furniture, keeping that fresh “new floor” look intact.

Ask a Question
1. How does the "Nature Sense" range feel compared to standard laminate? The Nature Sense range utilizes a specialized Deepskin texture. Unlike cheaper laminates that feel smooth and "plastic," Natural Treviso Oak has a tactile grain that follows the visual patterns of the wood. When you walk on it, you can feel the subtle ridges and pores, making it almost indistinguishable from real brushed oak.
2. Is a 10mm board significantly better than an 8mm board? Yes, particularly regarding sound and subfloor stability. The extra 2mm of high-density core board provides a much quieter walking experience (less "clatter") and allows the floor to bridge very minor subfloor imperfections more effectively than thinner alternatives.
3. Can I use Natural Treviso Oak in a kitchen or utility room? Absolutely. Thanks to the Aqua CLIC it! system, this floor is designed for 24-hour water resistance. It can easily handle the humidity and occasional splashes found in kitchens. For maximum protection in these areas, we recommend using a waterproof sealant around the perimeter during installation.
Recommended Underlay
The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Egger laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
