Product Description

Contemporary Elegance: Nature Sense Grey Treviso Oak

If you are looking to infuse your home with a sense of modern tranquility and architectural depth, the Grey Treviso Oak from the Egger Nature Sense range is a compelling selection. This floor is a masterclass in contemporary design, featuring a refined soft grey palette that perfectly captures the moody, elegant tones of modern European interiors. At Floorstore Direct, we have solidified our reputation as the best place in Ireland to buy laminate flooring by offering high-performance collections that balance cutting-edge style with the durability required for Irish life.

Grey Treviso Oak stands out with its striking “Deepskin” surface texture. This isn’t a typical flat-print floor; it features a sophisticated, limed look where subtle knots and distinctive pores are highlighted to create a sense of tactile realism. As a flagship product in the Egger flooring range, its soft grey tones act as a versatile canvas, pairing beautifully with industrial metals, minimalist white furniture, or vibrant jewel-toned accents.

The 10mm Powerhouse: AC4 Water-Resistant Excellence

In the world of flooring, the 10mm profile is often considered the “architectural sweet spot.” Grey Treviso Oak is not just a surface; it is a substantial foundation engineered to handle the “beautiful chaos” of a busy household.

  • 10mm Architectural Profile: The substantial 10mm thickness provides a rock-solid feel underfoot and superior acoustic performance. It eliminates the hollow “click” often associated with thinner floors, giving your home the premium weight and “thud” of solid hardwood.

  • Aqua CLIC it! Technology: Life happens—especially in kitchens and hallways. This range features 24-hour water resistance, providing a reliable barrier against moisture penetration. The waterproof click system ensures that splashes and spills don’t compromise the integrity of your floor.

  • AC4 Heavy-Duty Rating: Certified for heavy residential use, this 10mm laminate is engineered to resist micro-scratches from pets, high heels, and the movement of heavy furniture.

Ask a Question

1. Does a grey floor like Treviso Oak make a room feel cold? Not at all. Because this is a "soft grey," it contains warm undertones that prevent it from feeling clinical. The Deepskin texture adds a layer of organic warmth that reflects light softly, making it a cozy choice even for north-facing rooms in the Irish climate.

2. Is a 10mm board significantly better than an 8mm board? Yes. A 10mm board offers better structural stability and handles slight subfloor unevenness more effectively. Additionally, the extra density provides a much more natural sound when walked upon, making it a "quieter" floor for busy living rooms or hallways.

3. Can I truly install this in a bathroom or kitchen? Yes! Thanks to the Aqua CLIC it! system, this floor is designed for 24-hour water resistance. It is a fantastic, warmer alternative to cold tiles in humid areas. For the best results, we always recommend sealing the perimeter with a waterproof silicone during installation to protect the expansion gaps.

Recommended Underlay

The underlay you choose for your new floor can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Egger laminate floor is pretty much the same as with all Laminate Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
