Product Description

Bring contemporary elegance and natural warmth into your home with Nature Nore, a beautifully crafted engineered wood floor that embodies style, quality, and timeless sophistication. Available exclusively from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s leading destination for engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this exquisite brushed and grey-stained floor is designed to complement both modern and classic interiors, adding instant character to any space.

Each plank of Nature Nore is expertly brushed and stained in a refined grey tone, allowing the natural texture and grain of real oak to shine through. This soft, neutral shade creates a calming atmosphere, effortlessly blending with a wide range of colour palettes and interior styles. The matt lacquered finish enhances its subtle beauty while providing superior protection against everyday wear, spills, and scratches. The result is a durable, low-maintenance floor that retains the authentic look and feel of solid wood while offering the practical benefits of modern engineering.

Built with precision and performance in mind, this engineered floor combines a real wood top layer with a multi-layered core, giving it excellent strength and stability. This structure ensures minimal movement in response to changes in temperature or humidity — a vital feature for Irish homes. Whether you live in a contemporary apartment, a coastal retreat, or a traditional countryside home, Nature Nore is designed to stand the test of time.

Installation is simple and flexible thanks to its tongue and groove system, which allows the floor to be floated over an underlay or glued directly to the subfloor for a more permanent fit. This versatility ensures that your flooring can be installed seamlessly, providing a flawless finish in every room. Its gentle brushed texture adds depth underfoot, enhancing the natural aesthetic while maintaining a smooth, elegant surface that’s comfortable to walk on.

The grey-stained finish of Nature Nore offers a sophisticated balance between modern minimalism and rustic charm. It works beautifully with light, airy interiors as well as darker, moodier design schemes, making it one of the most adaptable options in our collection. Pair it with white walls for a Scandinavian-inspired look or combine it with earthy tones and natural textures for a warm, organic feel.

Recommend Underlay/Adhesive

Our Engineered Flooring can be fitted either over an underlay as part of a floating system or can be directly glued to the subfloor. Our advice would always be for you to glue your floor down if possible. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

If you choose to float your floor the underlay you choose can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Nature Engineered Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
