Product Description
Bring warmth, depth, and timeless charm into your home with Nature Lee, a stunning engineered wood floor that perfectly balances rustic beauty with modern craftsmanship. Available exclusively at FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s leading destination for engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this 14mm smoked oak floor is designed for those who appreciate natural character, durable design, and elegant simplicity.
Each plank of Nature Lee is meticulously smoked to enhance the wood’s rich tones, creating a beautiful blend of deep browns and golden undertones that highlight the unique grain pattern of genuine oak. The surface is then brushed to reveal the natural texture of the timber, adding tactile appeal and authenticity, while a protective matt lacquered finishcompletes the look with a soft, natural sheen. This finish not only accentuates the rustic charm of the wood but also offers long-lasting resistance to wear, spills, and daily use — ideal for busy family homes or stylish commercial spaces.
The rustic grade of Nature Lee celebrates the individuality of real wood. Expect natural knots, colour variations, and distinctive grain markings — the very features that make hardwood flooring so sought after. Each plank tells its own story, creating a floor full of depth, character, and warmth. Whether you’re designing a country-style kitchen, a modern living room, or a welcoming hallway, Nature Lee adds personality and sophistication to every setting.
Engineered with precision, this 14mm multi-layered floor provides exceptional stability and strength, ensuring minimal movement even in Ireland’s changing climate. Unlike traditional solid wood flooring, engineered floors are designed to handle fluctuations in temperature and humidity, making them a smarter and more sustainable choice.
Installation is quick and flexible thanks to the tongue and groove system, allowing the floor to be either floated over an underlay or glued directly to the subfloor for a secure and seamless fit. This adaptability means the floor can be fitted in a variety of spaces, from modern apartments to heritage homes, with ease and precision.

Recommend Underlay/Adhesive
Our Engineered Flooring can be fitted either over an underlay as part of a floating system or can be directly glued to the subfloor. Our advice would always be for you to glue your floor down if possible. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.
If you choose to float your floor the underlay you choose can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Nature Engineered Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
