Product Description
Bring timeless beauty, warmth, and a touch of modern elegance into your home with Majestic Smoked & White Oiled Oak, a luxurious engineered wood floor that perfectly blends natural charm with contemporary sophistication. Available exclusively from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s number one destination for engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this premium 20mm oak floor features a stunning smoked, brushed, and white oiled finish that creates a light, balanced look — ideal for stylish Irish homes that value both quality and character.
Each plank of Majestic Smoked & White Oiled Oak is smoked to enrich the tone of the oak, drawing out its natural depth and variation while adding a subtle warmth to the wood. The brushed surface enhances the grain, creating a beautifully textured feel that’s both tactile and visually striking. Finally, the floor is treated with a white oil finish, giving it a refined, contemporary appearance while preserving its natural texture. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, protecting it from wear while allowing it to breathe. The result is a floor that looks effortlessly elegant and feels wonderfully organic underfoot.
The rustic grading of this floor celebrates the authentic beauty of real oak. Each board displays visible knots, gentle tonal variations, and traces of sapwood, ensuring every installation tells its own story. The combination of soft white undertones and smoky base colours creates a sense of depth and balance, making Majestic Smoked & White Oiled Oakperfect for bright, modern spaces as well as traditional homes seeking a fresh, timeless touch. Its natural tones complement both minimalist interiors and rich, classic décor, giving you the freedom to style it your way.
Beneath its beautiful surface, this 20mm multi-layered engineered floor delivers exceptional performance and durability. Unlike solid wood flooring, engineered flooring is built to withstand Ireland’s changing climate, resisting expansion and contraction caused by humidity and temperature shifts. This ensures your floor remains smooth, stable, and long-lasting — the perfect balance between craftsmanship and practicality.
Installation is flexible and convenient. Majestic Smoked & White Oiled Oak can be glued directly to the subfloor for a solid, premium feel or floated using a tongue and groove system for faster installation. Both options provide a flawless, secure finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood.

Recommend Underlay/Adhesive
Our Engineered Flooring can be fitted either over an underlay as part of a floating system or can be directly glued to the subfloor. Our advice would always be for you to glue your floor down if possible. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.
If you choose to float your floor the underlay you choose can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Majestic Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
