Product Description

Cool, contemporary, and beautifully refined, Lofoten Harbourside Oak by Pergo is a premium engineered wood floorthat perfectly blends Scandinavian design with cutting-edge flooring innovation. Available from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s leading destination for engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this 13mm water-resistant floor features a sophisticated light grey stain, combined with a brushed texture and an extra matt lacquered finish. The result is a versatile, elegant floor that feels modern yet timeless — the perfect foundation for today’s stylish Irish homes.

Each plank of Lofoten Harbourside Oak showcases Pergo’s signature craftsmanship. The light grey stain gives the oak a soft, coastal-inspired hue, creating a calming, neutral base that enhances natural light and complements a wide range of interior styles. From contemporary minimalist apartments to relaxed seaside homes, this colour brings effortless elegance and warmth to any setting. The brushed finish reveals the natural grain of the wood, adding texture and depth, while the extra matt lacquer protects the surface with a low-sheen, velvety finish that mimics the beauty of untreated timber. Together, these features create a floor that looks as stunning as it feels — smooth, durable, and full of natural charm.

The select grading of Lofoten Harbourside Oak ensures a clean, refined appearance with minimal knots, subtle variation, and little sapwood. This uniform look is ideal for homeowners and designers who prefer a sleek, contemporary aesthetic without sacrificing the warmth and authenticity of real oak. The result is a floor that feels calm and balanced, perfectly suited to modern living spaces, open-plan layouts, and bright, airy interiors.

Beneath its stunning surface, this 13mm engineered floor is built for strength and reliability. The multi-layered structure provides exceptional stability and resistance to warping or expansion, even in Ireland’s variable climate. Thanks to Pergo’s water-resistant technology, this floor performs brilliantly in areas such as kitchens, hallways, and living rooms, making it both practical and stylish.

Installation is fast and simple with Pergo’s PerfectFold™ click system, which allows for two fitting options: floating for quick, flexible installation, or glued directly to the subfloor for a solid, long-lasting bond. This system ensures a flawless, secure fit every time, giving you a professional result with minimal effort.

Recommend Underlay/Adhesive

Our Engineered Flooring can be fitted either over an underlay as part of a floating system or can be directly glued to the subfloor. Our advice would always be for you to glue your floor down if possible. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

If you choose to float your floor the underlay you choose can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Pergo range is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
