Product Description
Refresh your interiors with the airy elegance of Washed Character Oak, a luxury vinyl tile (LVT) from the Knight Tile Rigid Core collection by Karndean. Available now at FloorStore Direct – Ireland’s leading supplier of premium flooring – this floor combines soft coastal tones with the character of real oak, delivering a perfect balance of natural style and everyday durability.
With a palette of bleached blonde hues and muted grey undertones, Washed Character Oak evokes the look of sun-drenched timber worn smooth by sea air and time. Its delicate grain detailing and subtle knots add authenticity without overpowering your space. The result is a versatile floor that pairs beautifully with modern Scandinavian, coastal, and minimalist interiors, offering a light, expansive feel to rooms of all sizes.
Engineered with Karndean’s K-Core® rigid core technology, this floor delivers high performance without compromise. The rigid core construction provides exceptional dimensional stability, making it ideal for installations over uneven subfloors or existing hard surfaces. It’s particularly well-suited to renovation projects where time and subfloor conditions are a factor.
The 5G click-locking mechanism enables quick, clean, and glue-free installation. Whether you’re a professional installer or a confident DIYer, you’ll appreciate the ease and precision this system offers. Plus, with built-in acoustic backing, Washed Character Oak reduces sound transfer by up to 19dB, making it an excellent option for multi-level homes, apartments, and open-plan spaces.
100% waterproof and incredibly scratch-resistant, this floor stands up to the challenges of modern living. From kitchens and bathrooms to hallways and bedrooms, it offers the look of natural oak with far less maintenance. The protective PU surface coating ensures long-term resistance to wear, stains, and spills.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Karndean Rigid Core Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
