Product Description
Bring bold, industrial flair into your home or workspace with Smoked Concrete, a sleek and contemporary flooring solution from the Karndean Knight Tile Rigid Core range. Available now at FloorStore Direct – Ireland’s leading destination for premium flooring – this luxury vinyl tile (LVT) fuses the raw beauty of concrete with the resilience and innovation of Karndean’s advanced rigid core technology.
Smoked Concrete features deep grey tones and soft surface textures that mimic real poured concrete. Its subtle mottling and shading give it a modern yet lived-in appearance, ideal for urban lofts, minimalist interiors, high-traffic retail spaces, and contemporary kitchens. Whether you’re aiming for a Scandinavian aesthetic, a modern industrial look, or a neutral foundation for vibrant decor, Smoked Concrete provides the perfect canvas.
What sets this floor apart is its construction. Built with Karndean’s proprietary K-Core® rigid core technology, Smoked Concrete delivers exceptional dimensional stability, strength, and comfort underfoot. It can be installed over most existing subfloors – even if they’re slightly uneven – making it a smart solution for both renovations and new builds.
Installation is quick and easy thanks to the 5G click-locking mechanism, which allows for a secure, glue-free fit. Whether installed professionally or as a DIY project, the result is seamless and efficient with minimal mess or disruption.
Underneath the surface, an integrated acoustic backing provides up to 19dB sound reduction, ideal for upstairs rooms, apartments, and busy households. The sound insulation makes Smoked Concrete as practical as it is stylish.
Completely waterproof and built to withstand daily wear and tear, this floor is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and commercial settings. It’s finished with a durable PU-coated wear layer that resists stains, scratches, and scuffs, while being easy to clean and maintain. Additionally, it is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, delivering warmth and comfort throughout the year.
At FloorStore Direct, we proudly stock Karndean Smoked Concrete and offer nationwide delivery across Ireland, as well as expert advice in our Tullamore and Galway showrooms. For a high-performance floor with cutting-edge style, Smoked Concrete is the perfect modern solution.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Karndean Rigid Core Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
