Product Description
Bring natural sophistication and modern performance to your space with Portland Stone, one of the most refined and versatile options in the Karndean Knight Tile Rigid Core range. Available now at FloorStore Direct, Portland Stone perfectly replicates the soft, neutral tones of traditional limestone while offering the resilience, comfort, and convenience of a premium rigid core luxury vinyl tile (LVT).
Inspired by the classic limestone quarried on the Isle of Portland, this floor features subtle marbling and chalky undertones, creating a neutral canvas that complements a wide variety of interior styles—from contemporary minimalism to timeless elegance. The gentle variation and smooth texture of Portland Stone provide a light, clean, and airy aesthetic, ideal for brightening up kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, and open-plan living spaces.
What sets this floor apart is its construction. Built with Karndean’s innovative K-Core® rigid core technology, Portland Stone offers exceptional dimensional stability and can be laid directly over most existing subfloors—even if they’re slightly uneven. This makes it a fantastic choice for both renovation projects and new builds, significantly reducing preparation time and installation hassle.
Thanks to the intuitive 5G click-locking system, installation is fast, easy, and glue-free. The boards fit securely into place, ensuring a seamless look that’s also highly practical. An integrated acoustic backing reduces sound transfer by up to 19dB, helping to maintain peace and quiet throughout your home or commercial environment.
Portland Stone isn’t just visually beautiful—it’s built to withstand the challenges of everyday life. It’s 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, and stain-resistant, making it a smart choice for busy households, families with children or pets, and high-traffic commercial areas. The floor also features a PU-coated wear layer for added durability and easy maintenance, and is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Karndean Rigid Core Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
