Product Description
Add a touch of timeless elegance to your home with Classic Limed Oak, part of the Knight Tile Rigid Core range by Karndean. Available now at FloorStore Direct – Ireland’s trusted retailer for high-performance flooring – this luxury vinyl tile (LVT) combines the classic beauty of limed oak with the resilience and convenience of modern rigid core technology.
Inspired by traditional English limed oak floorboards, Classic Limed Oak showcases soft grain patterns, gentle grey-beige tones, and natural variation that authentically replicates the look of real wood. Its versatile neutral colour palette makes it a perfect match for contemporary, coastal, Scandinavian, or minimalist interior styles, bringing brightness and warmth to any room.
Unlike traditional timber, this floor is built to handle modern demands. Knight Tile Rigid Core LVT is made using Karndean’s innovative K-Core® technology, offering enhanced stability and strength. This rigid core construction allows installation directly over most existing hard floors, even those with slight subfloor imperfections—making it the ideal solution for quick renovations or retrofit projects.
Fitted with a 5G click-locking system, Classic Limed Oak offers fast, hassle-free installation with a secure, gap-free finish. Whether fitted professionally or by a confident DIYer, the result is a stunning floor that performs beautifully under pressure.
An integrated acoustic backing layer helps reduce noise transfer by up to 19dB, making it ideal for busy homes, apartments, and multi-storey spaces. It also feels warm and cushioned underfoot, offering everyday comfort with the stylish appearance of real oak.
Waterproof and highly durable, Classic Limed Oak is ideal for use in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, and high-traffic areas. It features a robust PU-coated wear layer, which protects against stains, scuffs, and scratches—perfect for family homes, pets, and commercial spaces alike.
The floor is also compatible with underfloor heating systems, providing comfort and warmth throughout the year. Its low-maintenance finish ensures it stays looking its best with minimal upkeep.
As with all Karndean flooring, Classic Limed Oak is designed with sustainability and long-term value in mind. It is a hygienic, phthalate-free option that supports better indoor air quality, making it a smart, stylish, and responsible flooring choice.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Karndean Rigid Core Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
