Product Description
Step into timeless sophistication with Heritage Oak Cezanne, a luxurious engineered wood floor that perfectly captures the beauty of traditional craftsmanship combined with the strength and stability of modern engineering. Available exclusively from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s leading destination for engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this premium 18mm oak floor offers rich smoked tones, intricate grain detail, and a soft brushed texture that bring warmth and elegance to any interior.
Each plank of Heritage Oak Cezanne is expertly smoked, brushed, and finished with a matt lacquer, creating a floor full of depth, character, and natural charm. The smoking process enhances the oak’s organic tones, giving it a rich, lived-in appearance with warm brown and golden hues that evoke timeless beauty. The brushed surface adds tactile texture, accentuating the natural grain and variation of the wood, while the matt lacquered finish provides a subtle sheen that protects against daily wear while preserving the authentic look of natural oak. The result is a durable, low-maintenance surface that feels luxurious underfoot and looks stunning in any setting.
The universal grading of Heritage Oak Cezanne combines all grades of oak flooring, blending clean, smooth boards with rustic pieces featuring natural knots, grain swirls, and tonal variations. This mix captures the perfect balance between refinement and authenticity, making it ideal for both contemporary and classic interiors. Whether installed in a sleek modern living space, a traditional farmhouse, or a grand hallway, this floor delivers timeless appeal that enhances the character of your home.
Crafted for lasting performance, this 18mm multi-layered engineered construction ensures maximum stability and strength. Unlike solid wood, engineered flooring is designed to resist expansion and contraction caused by temperature and humidity changes — making it ideal for the Irish climate. The robust structure guarantees a secure, long-lasting fit while maintaining the natural beauty and feel of real oak.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the tongue and groove system, allowing Heritage Oak Cezanne to be either floated over an underlay for ease or glued directly to the subfloor for a more permanent and seamless finish. Whichever method you choose, the result is a smooth, flawless floor that adds instant elegance and comfort to your space.

Recommend Underlay/Adhesive
Our Engineered Flooring can be fitted either over an underlay as part of a floating system or can be directly glued to the subfloor. Our advice would always be for you to glue your floor down if possible. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.
If you choose to float your floor the underlay you choose can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Heritage Engineered Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet. You can view all our Cleaning & Maintenance products here.
