Product Description

Bring timeless elegance and modern brightness into your home with Esco Natural White, a beautifully crafted engineered wood floor that combines natural oak character with a soft, contemporary white finish. Available exclusively from FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s leading destination for engineered flooring and hardwood floors, this stunning 14mm rustic-grade floor is the perfect choice for homeowners who appreciate the harmony of nature, craftsmanship, and style.

Each plank of Esco Natural White is finished with a premium white UV oiled coating, giving it a gentle, matte appearance that brightens any space while protecting the surface from everyday wear and UV damage. The oil penetrates deeply into the wood, enhancing its durability while maintaining its natural feel and texture. This finish beautifully highlights the oak’s grain patterns and soft colour variations, resulting in a floor that feels both organic and sophisticated — perfect for open-plan homes, modern apartments, or coastal-inspired interiors.

As a rustic grade floor, Esco Natural White celebrates the natural features of real oak, including knots, grain markings, and subtle colour shifts that make each plank unique. These natural details bring warmth, character, and authenticity to your home, creating a truly one-of-a-kind floor. The combination of rustic charm and contemporary white tones makes this flooring a versatile choice that pairs effortlessly with both minimalist and traditional design schemes.

Built with precision engineering, this 14mm multi-layered construction ensures strength, stability, and performance that surpasses solid wood flooring. Engineered to handle Ireland’s varied climate, engineered floors like Esco Natural White resist the natural expansion and contraction caused by humidity and temperature changes, ensuring long-lasting beauty and structure. This makes it a smart, durable investment for Irish homes, where practicality and elegance go hand in hand.

Installation is straightforward and versatile thanks to the tongue and groove system, which allows the floor to be floated over an underlay for acoustic comfort or glued directly to the subfloor for a more permanent, solid fit. Either way, you’ll enjoy a seamless finish and a secure, luxurious feel underfoot.

Recommend Underlay/Adhesive

Our Engineered Flooring can be fitted either over an underlay as part of a floating system or can be directly glued to the subfloor. Our advice would always be for you to glue your floor down if possible. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

If you choose to float your floor the underlay you choose can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Esco Engineered Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
