ABOUT CORETEC:
All Coretec Floors are 100% waterproof, kid proof and pet proof. Suitable for use in kitchens and bathrooms, they won’t warp or buckle even if fully submerged in water. The 8mm thickness (unheard of in vinyl floors) provides structure and stability that cannot be matched. Coretec is easy to install, care for and clean and can be fitted on top of any hard surface.
CORK UNDERLAY:
Cork is a natural product that is one of the most sustainable materials around. It is harvested from the cork tree and can be re-harvested every decade without any damage to the tree. This makes it ideal for todays ecological concerns. The benefits of cork don’t just stop there. It is warmer, quieter and conceals imperfections better than most other underlays. Cork will also provide you with a natural protection against mould and mildew.

Ask a Question
1. Does the "Pampas" colourway have a "flat" beige look, or are there distinct highlights? Pampas is known for its multi-dimensional "straw" tones. Unlike a solid beige floor, it features very fine, pale-cream highlights mixed with slightly darker "wheat" graining. This prevents the floor from looking like a flat, monolithic sheet of plastic. When installed across a large area, these subtle tonal shifts create a "soft-focus" texture that mimics the natural variations found in high-end, untreated European Oak.
2. How does the "Pampas" visual handle "clashing" with existing golden-oak furniture? Because Pampas is a desaturated, cool-leaning tan, it is actually very effective at modernising a room that has older, more "orange" oak furniture. Instead of trying to match the warmth (which can often lead to a "clash" of slightly different yellows), Pampas provides a neutral, "ashy" base that allows the warmer wood of your furniture to stand out as a feature piece. It "calms down" the room's palette, making it feel more intentional and curated.
3. Is "Pampas" susceptible to showing "scuff shadows" in high-traffic areas like kitchens? Pampas sits in the "goldilocks" zone for hiding wear. Because it is neither dark enough to show light-coloured scratches nor white enough to show every speck of dark grit, it is exceptionally forgiving. Its matte, low-sheen finish is specifically designed to diffuse overhead lighting, meaning that "scuff shadows" (the oily marks left by rubber-soled shoes) are far less visible than they would be on a darker or glossier plank. A simple sweep and a quick wipe with a damp microfibre cloth is usually all that is required to maintain its "just-installed" look.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Coretec Flooring is pretty much the same as with all Vinyl Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Please make sure to also check the manufacturers guidelines. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet. You can view all our Cleaning & Maintenance products here.
