ABOUT CORETEC:
All Coretec Floors are 100% waterproof, kid proof and pet proof. Suitable for use in kitchens and bathrooms, they won’t warp or buckle even if fully submerged in water. The 8mm thickness (unheard of in vinyl floors) provides structure and stability that cannot be matched. Coretec is easy to install, care for and clean and can be fitted on top of any hard surface.
CORK UNDERLAY:
Cork is a natural product that is one of the most sustainable materials around. It is harvested from the cork tree and can be re-harvested every decade without any damage to the tree. This makes it ideal for todays ecological concerns. The benefits of cork don’t just stop there. It is warmer, quieter and conceals imperfections better than most other underlays. Cork will also provide you with a natural protection against mould and mildew.

1. Does the light "Cloud Grey" of Rhon 0571a show seams or "peaking" at the joints over time? No. Because Rhon 0571a is built with a Solid Mineral Core, it is virtually immune to the "peaking" (edges lifting) or "gapping" (planks pulling apart) that can affect standard flexible vinyl floors. The rigid limestone-based core ensures the click-lock joints remain under constant tension, and the integrated grout lines are flush with the wear layer, creating a smooth, monolithic surface that stays flat even in large, open-concept rooms.
2. How does the "A" variation of Rhon 0571a handle the look of "dust" in high-sunlight areas? Rhon 0571a is highly effective at masking common household dust. Unlike dark charcoal tiles where every speck of light-colored lint or dust is visible, the "Silver-Cloud" base and subtle white veining of the 0571a act as a natural camouflage. In rooms with significant natural light, the matte finish diffuses reflections, meaning you won't see the "haze" or "film" that often appears on glossier, solid-colored tiles between cleanings.
3. Can Rhon 0571a be installed in a "Wet Room" or a walk-in shower area? While Rhon 0571a is 100% waterproofand ideal for bathrooms, it is not intended for use as the actual floor of a sloped shower pan (the area where the drain is located). It is, however, perfect for the "dry" areas of the bathroom, such as around the vanity and toilet. For a cohesive look, many designers run the 0571a right up to the shower curb; its mineral core won't swell or degrade even if it's exposed to standing water from a leaky shower curtain or a splashing bathtub.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Coretec Flooring is pretty much the same as with all Vinyl Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Please make sure to also check the manufacturers guidelines.
