About Coretec:
All Coretec Floors are 100% waterproof, kid proof and pet proof. Suitable for use in kitchens and bathrooms, they won’t warp or buckle even if fully submerged in water. The 8mm thickness (unheard of in vinyl floors) provides structure and stability that cannot be matched. Coretec is easy to install, care for and clean and can be fitted on top of any hard surface.

Cork is a natural product that is one of the most sustainable materials around. It is harvested from the cork tree and can be re-harvested every decade without any damage to the tree. 1. Does the Pico 0393a "poured concrete" visual show scuff marks from black-soled shoes or furniture legs? Pico 0393a features a high-performance wear layer with a matte, micro-textured finish designed to minimize the appearance of "burnishing" or rubber scuffs. Unlike real polished concrete, which can permanently stain or scuff, the acrylic top coat on Pico 0393a allows most rubber marks to be easily buffed away with a dry tennis ball or a damp microfiber cloth without damaging the stone-film layer.
2. How does the "honed" texture of Pico 0393a affect its slip resistance in wet areas like laundry rooms? While Pico 0393a looks smooth and sleek like high-end concrete, it is engineered with a subtle, tactile surface tension. This provides a "grip" that exceeds the slip resistance of real wet-sealed concrete or high-gloss ceramic tile. It is rated for residential and commercial traffic, providing a safer, more stable footing in areas prone to occasional splashes, such as entryways or mudrooms.
3. Is there a "natural" color variation between the individual tiles of Pico 0393a? Yes. To maintain its authenticity, Pico 0393a is designed with a Moderate (V2-V3) Shade Variation. This means that while the overall "Pico" grey is consistent, individual planks will have slightly different swirling and mineral "clouding" patterns. This prevents the floor from looking like a flat, monotonous gray sheet and instead gives it the organic movement found in genuine masonry.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Coretec Flooring is pretty much the same as with all Vinyl Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Please make sure to also check the manufacturers guidelines.
