About Coretec:
All Coretec Floors are 100% waterproof, kid proof and pet proof. Suitable for use in kitchens and bathrooms, they won’t warp or buckle even if fully submerged in water. The 8mm thickness (unheard of in vinyl floors) provides structure and stability that cannot be matched. Coretec is easy to install, care for and clean and can be fitted on top of any hard surface.
Cork Underlay:
Cork is a natural product that is one of the most sustainable materials around. It is harvested from the cork tree and can be re-harvested every decade without any damage to the tree. This makes it ideal for todays ecological concerns. The benefits of cork don’t just stop there. It is warmer, quieter and conceals imperfections better than most other underlays. Cork will also provide you with a natural protection against mould and mildew.

1. Does the "Iron-Oxide" or rusty detailing in Nuovo 0795c look like a defect or a stain? No, the oxidized mineral streaks are a deliberate design element of the 0795c "Industrial" aesthetic. These highlights are high-definition prints designed to mimic the natural chemical aging process of weathered concrete or metallic-infused stone. Because these "stains" are protected under the wear layer, they won't change over time or bleed into adjacent planks, providing a permanent "reclaimed" look that never actually degrades.
2. Is the surface of Nuovo 0795c too rough for high-end "Gold-Leaf" or delicate furniture legs? While Nuovo 0795c captures the rugged, "pitted" appearance of aged masonry, the physical texture is a controlled embossment. It is textured enough to provide excellent slip resistance, but it is not abrasive. However, because the design is so bold, it is highly recommended to use high-quality felt pads on all furniture. This isn't because the furniture will damage the floor, but to ensure that delicate furniture legs aren't micro-scratched by the floor's slip-resistant "grip" texture during movement.
3. Will the dark, complex pattern of Nuovo 0795c clash with patterned area rugs? Nuovo 0795c is a High Variation (V4) floor, meaning it has a lot of visual "movement." To avoid a cluttered look, interior designers typically pair this floor with solid-colored or subtly textured rugs (like jute, sisal, or high-pile cream wool). If you choose a highly patterned Persian or geometric rug, the "busy" nature of the floor might compete with the rug. The 0795c looks best when it is allowed to be the "hero" of the room's industrial or rustic foundation.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Coretec Flooring is pretty much the same as with all Vinyl Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Please make sure to also check the manufacturers guidelines.
