Product Description

Luminous Modernity: Elevate Your Home with Camaro White Metalstone

If you are looking to capture a crisp, high-end gallery aesthetic or a sleek, futuristic kitchen design, White Metalstone from the Polyflor Camaro collection is a peerless choice. This 2mm thick LVT masterfully blends the organic texture of natural stone with a subtle, pearlescent metallic sheen. The result is a stunning white tile effect that reflects light beautifully, making even the most compact Irish hallways or ensuite bathrooms feel expansive, airy, and undeniably luxurious. It offers a bright, sophisticated foundation that remains far warmer and more comfortable underfoot than traditional ceramic or cold stone tiles.

A True Designer’s Canvas: The Versatility of Glue-Down LVT

One of the primary reasons professional designers favour the Polyflor Camaro range is the sheer creative freedom it provides. As a permanent glue-down floor, White Metalstone serves as a versatile canvas for bespoke interiors. At Floorstore Direct, we often help customers elevate this floor by incorporating Polyflor feature strips and borders. You can choose a seamless, edge-to-edge installation for a monolithic, poured-concrete look, or introduce contrasting grouting strips in silver or graphite to define each tile. This level of customisation ensures your flooring is a unique reflection of your personal style.

Technical Precision for High-Performance Living

White Metalstone is engineered to withstand the rigours of modern life while maintaining its pristine appearance. Because it is a glue-down product, it offers superior structural stability and acoustic performance.

  • 100% Waterproof: This floor is entirely impervious to moisture, making it the premier choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and utility rooms.

  • Polyurethane (PUR) Reinforcement: The surface is treated with a high-quality PUR coating, ensuring it is exceptionally easy to clean and highly resistant to daily scuffs and stains.

  • Underfloor Heating Compatible: It is an excellent thermal conductor, making it perfect for use with underfloor heating systems (up to 27°C) to keep your home cosy throughout the Irish winter.

Ask a Question

1. Does a white floor like "White Metalstone" show every speck of dirt? While white floors are naturally brighter, the "Metalstone" texture is incredibly clever. The subtle stone-effect marbling and metallic highlights help to diffuse light and mask light dust or minor footmarks much better than a solid, flat-white tile. A quick damp mop is usually all it takes to restore its brilliant finish.

2. Why is subfloor moisture testing critical for this floor? Since White Metalstone must be glued down, any residual moisture in the subfloor can prevent the adhesive from bonding correctly. This can lead to tiles lifting or "bubbling" over time. We always recommend a professional moisture check and the use of a smoothing compound to create a glass-like finish before installation.

3. Can I use this floor in a light commercial space like a boutique or salon? Absolutely. The Polyflor Camaro range is durability-rated for both residential and light commercial environments. Its permanent glue-down bond and tough 0.3mm wear layer make it an excellent, hard-wearing choice for stylish Irish businesses that require a floor that is as tough as it is beautiful.

Recommend Adhesive

Our Polyflor LVT Flooring must be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Polyflor Flooring is pretty much the same as with all Vinyl Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Please make sure to also check the manufacturers guidelines. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet. You can view all our Cleaning & Maintenance products here.
