Naked Blonde Oak Herringbone from our Camaro Rigid Core range is a beautiful natural colour board. As with all our lvt floors it is 100% waterproof. Because it is made from vinyl it is softer and warmer than most laminate floors. It is also incredibly durable and suited for the heaviest traffic and wear in your home. With a 5.5mm thickness it is perfect for areas where space is tight and can even be fitted over tiles. Naked Blonde Oak Herringbone has its underlay built in to it so you save on that cost.

Product Description
Radiant Sophistication: Elevate Your Home with Naked Blonde Oak Herringbone
For Irish homeowners looking to infuse their living spaces with natural light and a sense of architectural grandeur, Naked Blonde Oak Herringbone from the Camaro Rigid Core range is the ultimate floor. This 5.5mm thick LVT by Polyflor captures the organic, raw beauty of untreated mid-oak, offering a warm yet airy palette that complements everything from Scandi-chic to traditional country interiors. By arranging these precisely crafted planks in a classic herringbone pattern, you create a timeless “parquet” look that adds immediate designer value to any room.
The Resilience of Camaro Rigid Core: Advanced SPC Technology
In Ireland, our floors face a unique set of challenges—from the damp Atlantic air to the high-traffic demands of a busy family kitchen. Naked Blonde Oak is a high-performance SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) floor, featuring a solid, mineral-core construction that provides world-class dimensional stability. Unlike traditional flexible vinyl or real timber, this rigid core means the planks won’t warp, swell, or “peak” when exposed to moisture or the fluctuating temperatures of a sun-drenched conservatory.
As a 100% waterproof floor, it allows you to enjoy the prestige of herringbone flooring in moisture-heavy areas where natural wood would fail, such as bathrooms, utility rooms, and entrance hallways. While many homeowners compare this range to Karndean flooring, the Camaro Rigid Core collection is uniquely celebrated for its Valinge 5G® press-fit technology. This allows for a glueless, rapid installation that makes the traditionally complex herringbone layout accessible and cost-effective for every Irish renovation.
Silent Luxury with Integrated Rubber Underlay
One of the standout features of this Polyflor flooring is the pre-attached acoustic rubber underlay. This integrated layer is a massive advantage for modern Irish living:
- Exceptional Sound Reduction: It reduces noise transfer to rooms below by 18dB—essential for apartments or upstairs bedrooms.
- Thermal Comfort: Unlike real wood or stone, the rubber backing acts as a thermal barrier, keeping the floor feeling snug and comfortable on those chilly winter mornings.
- Cost-Efficient Installation: Because the underlay is already attached to every plank, you save significant time and money on additional materials and labour.

Ask a Question
1. Does the "Naked Blonde" finish show up scuffs more than darker oaks? Actually, light-to-mid oak tones like Naked Blonde are incredibly forgiving. The natural grain pattern and matte finish are excellent at diffusing light, which helps to mask light dust, pet hair, and minor surface scuffs far better than a dark or high-gloss floor. It is a fantastic choice for busy households with children or pets.
2. How much "wastage" should I order for a herringbone layout? Because of the geometric nature of the herringbone pattern and the extra cuts required at the room's perimeter to maintain symmetry, we recommend allowing for 10% to 15% wastage. This ensures you have enough material to achieve a perfectly balanced look from wall to wall.
3. Can I install this floor directly over old ceramic kitchen tiles? Yes! Thanks to the rigid SPC core and the 5.5mm thickness, Camaro Rigid Core is designed to be installed over most existing hard floors. It bridges minor grout lines and subfloor imperfections that would cause thinner vinyls to fail, saving you the expense and mess of a full floor "rip-out."
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Polyflor Flooring is pretty much the same as with all Vinyl Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Please make sure to also check the manufacturers guidelines. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet. You can view all our Cleaning & Maintenance products here.
