Product Description

If you’re looking to brighten your interior with a floor that oozes natural charm and refined style, look no further than Barista Plank Latte. This 14mm engineered floor brings the calming tones of light-stained oak into your home, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that suits both modern and classic spaces alike.

Crafted from premium European oak, Barista Plank Latte features a brushed surface that accentuates the grain and texture of the wood, giving you the luxurious look and feel of a traditional hardwood floor without the high maintenance. The light stain adds a soft, neutral tone to the timber, ideal for making rooms feel more spacious, open and filled with natural light.

Its matt lacquered finish offers the perfect balance between aesthetics and protection. It preserves the wood’s authentic appearance while providing a resilient surface that stands up to everyday wear, scuffs and spills. Whether it’s for a busy family home or a contemporary commercial setting, this floor delivers style and durability in equal measure.

One of the standout features of Barista Plank Latte is its installation flexibility. Thanks to its high-quality 5G click system, it can be floated over underlay for quick and easy fitting – no glue, no fuss. For those seeking a more solid, lasting result, it can also be glued directly to the subfloor, offering maximum stability and that unmistakable solid wood underfoot feel.

Recommend Underlay/Adhesive

Our Engineered Flooring can be fitted either over an underlay as part of a floating system or can be directly glued to the subfloor. Our advice would always be for you to glue your floor down if possible. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.

If you choose to float your floor the underlay you choose can be just as important as the floor itself as this is what will determine the feel and noise level under your foot. Furthermore if you have underfloor heating, the underlay you choose will determine the level of heat conductivity with some underlays allowing for a quicker heat transfer than others. Because of this, getting the right underlay is hugely important. You can view our entire underlay collection here.

Fitting Guidelines

In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.

Cleaning & Maintenance Guide

The cleaning and maintenance of our Barista Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop.  If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
