Product Description
For those seeking timeless elegance and refined simplicity, Solid Unfinished Canadian Maple Flooring is a stunning choice. Available now at FloorStore Direct, Ireland’s premier destination for solid floors and hardwood floors, this exquisite 19mm solid maple floor brings natural brightness, durability, and sophistication to any home or commercial space.
Each plank measures 57mm wide, giving this floor its distinctive fine-grain appearance and graceful proportions. The narrower board width adds visual depth and texture, creating a floor that feels handcrafted and detailed. The light, creamy tones of Canadian maple brighten interiors effortlessly, reflecting natural light to make even smaller rooms feel airy and spacious. This floor is perfect for those who want a clean, contemporary look without sacrificing the warmth of real wood.
Being unfinished, this solid maple flooring gives you the freedom to create a truly bespoke finish. Whether you prefer a glossy lacquer for a polished modern feel or a satin or matte lacquer for a more natural, understated look, the choice is yours. Once finished on site, the surface becomes beautifully resilient—resistant to daily wear, while preserving the wood’s smooth, fine texture and delicate grain.
This solid hardwood floor must be glued directly to the subfloor, ensuring long-term stability and a firm underfoot feel. As a true solid wood product, it can be sanded and refinished multiple times throughout its life, making it a genuine investment that grows more beautiful with age. The select/better grading means each board is of premium quality, showcasing consistent colour and minimal natural imperfections. Expect little to no knots, minimal sapwood, and virtually no colour variation—just the refined clarity and natural beauty that only select-grade maple can offer.
Canadian maple is renowned for its strength and density, making it an excellent choice for both family homes and busy commercial environments. Its smooth grain and pale hue pair perfectly with both light Scandinavian-inspired interiors and bold, modern designs. From kitchens and living rooms to offices and showrooms, this floor brings a touch of elegance and precision craftsmanship to every space.
At FloorStore Direct, we’re proud to be Ireland’s top choice for premium solid floors and hardwood floors, offering only the finest materials from trusted sources. With expert advice, personal service, and nationwide delivery, we make it easy to bring the natural beauty of real wood into your home.

Recommend Adhesive
Our Solid Floors must be directly glued to the subfloor. This will provide a more solid and stable structure that will increase noise reduction, feel better underfoot and will not expand as much. In the long term it will also provide structural stability during any floor sanding. If you have underfloor heating a glued down floor eliminates air pockets and will then allow your heating to work more economically. You can view all our adhesives here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. This is an unfinished floor so it must be finished on site with an oil or a lacquer. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions. All Solid Flooring must be left in the room for at least 2-3 weeks prior to installation to be allowed to acclimatise.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Solid Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Engineered Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
