Product Description
Modern Coastal Luxe: Discover Art Select Brezza Ceppo
If you are looking to infuse your home with the airy, sophisticated aesthetic of contemporary Italian architecture, Art Select Brezza Ceppo by Karndean is the ultimate foundation. This premium 3mm thick LVT is a masterclass in realistic design, capturing the intricate “conglomerate” aggregate detail of traditional stone in a stunning light grey colour tile effect. Featuring soft, pebbled textures and a cool, luminous palette, Brezza Ceppo provides a neutral yet characterful canvas that expands the visual space of any room. It is a favourite for those seeking an industrial-chic or modern minimalist look without the coldness or maintenance of real concrete.
The Art Select Advantage: Bespoke Design Freedom
The Art Select collection is widely regarded as the pinnacle of Karndean flooring, specifically engineered to replicate natural materials with breathtaking accuracy. Because Brezza Ceppo is a permanent glue-down LVT, it offers a level of structural stability and creative freedom that standard click-lock systems simply cannot match. At Floorstore Direct, we specialise in helping our Irish customers leverage these design options to create truly unique interiors:
-
Custom Layouts: These tiles can be fitted in multiple directions—from a formal grid to a dynamic diagonal orientation—allowing you to manipulate the flow and scale of your room.
-
Feature Strips and Borders: Elevate the finish by adding Karndean design strips to create a realistic “grout line” effect in contrasting silver or charcoal, or use a perimeter border to frame your living area with professional precision.
-
Flush Transitions: Unlike floating floors, these individual tiles allow for a flush finish against skirting boards and hearths, providing a tailored, high-end look.
Engineered for High-Performance Irish Living
Brezza Ceppo isn’t just a visual masterpiece; it is a technical powerhouse built for the realities of modern life.
-
100% Waterproof: This floor is entirely impervious to moisture, making it the premier choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and utility rooms where traditional stone might be too porous or cold.
-
Installation Excellence: For a lifelong result, this floor must be glued down to a subfloor that is perfectly level, smooth, and entirely free from moisture.
-
Thermal Comfort: It is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, ensuring your home remains snug and warm during those damp Irish winters.

Ask a Question
1. What makes the "Ceppo" aggregate look different from standard grey tiles? Ceppo di Gré is a blue-grey volcanic rock from Italy, known for its "conglomerate" look of embedded pebbles. Brezza Ceppo replicates this high-end architectural stone, providing a much more intricate and varied texture than a plain concrete tile, which is excellent for masking light dust and footprints.
2. Why is the 3mm thickness and 0.7mm wear layer significant? The 3mm gauge represents Karndean’s most robust construction. The heavy-duty 0.7mm wear layer provides superior protection against scuffs, stains, and indentations, making it significantly more durable than standard 2mm LVT products—perfect for high-traffic family homes.
3. Why must this floor be glued down rather than installed as a click system? A glue-down installation creates a permanent, monolithic bond with the subfloor. This eliminates the "hollow" sound sometimes associated with floating floors and allows for the use of decorative strips and borders, which are impossible to incorporate into a standard click-lock floor.
Recommend Adhesive
LVT can shrink, expand, or lift under pressure if not properly bonded. Uzin KE66 is the adhesive we recommend as it is a fibre reinforced adhesive, which means it holds the tile firmly in place, preventing movement even in high-traffic areas or when exposed to temperature fluctuations. Please note all subfloors must be 100% clean, dry and level before LVT installation. Check out our adhesives, levelling compounds and primers here.
Fitting Guidelines
In order for your new floor to perform to the best of its ability we advise using a skilled, professional fitter for the installation of your new floor. Prior to installation your floor must be checked to ensure it is level and free from moisture. Should there be any issues with this our levelling compounds and damp proof membranes are available here. It is vitally important, in particular with a floating floor that you do not fit any heavy objects (Such as fitted kitchens or islands) directly to the floor. An installation gap of 10-12mm must also be left around all 4 sides of the room including at doorways. Please refer to manufacturers guidelines for full installation instructions.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
The cleaning and maintenance of our Karndean Design Flooring is pretty much the same as with most Flooring. A sweep of a brush is all it should take to remove light dirt from your floor. For mopping, it is important you use a damp mop rather than a wet mop. If your floor is too wet, over time it may cause issues from water penetrating the joints. We advise the use of a PH neutral floor cleaner to ensure no damage to the floor. Also a spin mop or micro fibre mop should ensure the floor is not being overly wet.
